The altronic DPY-4118U-A digital pyrometer is an electronic instrument designed to monitor temperatures using industry standard J or K thermocouple probes. A front panel sealed membrane switch allows the user to scan through the 18 channels. The display indicates both the channel number and the monitored temperature. the device is powered by long live lithium batteries with a 10-minute readout period each time the membrane switch is activated. The lithium batteries provide substantial life, even at the elevated temperatures common to industrial environments.
